Rail Cars

The first rail car in the Rail-Veyor® system has a set of four wheels.  The rest of the cars have two. This allows for a more articulatedAn articulated vehicle is a vehicle which has a permanent or semi-permanent pivoting joint in its construction, allowing the vehicle to turn more sharply. movement along the rail.

The design of the rail cars allows for operation in an inverted position by use of a double set of parallel rails.   This one innovation provides an extremely high availability for continuous loading and unloading using a roller coaster technology. Each rail car weighs less than three tonnes fully loaded.  The car weighs approximately 0.68 mt and can hold one tonne of product.

The low profile of the railcars offers a unique advantage to crossing roads and waterways.  The Rail-Veyor system can travel where other applications cannot.

It can travel through narrow culvert openings with a size of 1.83 meters in diameter.  A simple culvert with a construction road over top will allow the Rail-Veyor system to work effectively.

Rail-Veyor® rail cars come in various sizes.  0.6, 0.76, & 0.91 meter trough widths design for underground applications and a 1.22 meter width rail car for surface applications
